If you want a challenge-free, problem-free life, then get ready for heaven because that is the only place where you can find that kind of life. To go through life without challenges is not reality. However, just because we have problems and challenges does not mean that we have to give up.
Proverbs 18 says that a man’s courage can sustain anything he might go through. If you have courage and if you have the will to win, it will sustain anything that Satan tries to destroy you with. It will enable to you destroy and demolish any bad behavior pattern or habit that has been a part of your life for many years. It will give you the extra surge you need to keep going, when everything around screams that it will never change.
When that courage dies, and when you lose the will to win, you become helpless and hopeless and it is just a matter of time until you are utterly destroyed. Many people lose the will to win because they have been defeated so many times by the same weakness. They feel that it is a hopeless case that they could ever be different and stay different. They lose the will to win. They lose the will to succeed, and they often lose the will to live.
You may have an addiction to cigarettes and you’ve been smoking for twenty years. You can still get victory in your life. You may have tried everything offered to break that habit, with no results. But as long as you still have the will to win, then Jesus can set you free.
Greater is He that is in us than he that created the problem (1 John 4:4). God is not the creator of the problem; He is the Solver of the problem. He is the One who will deliver you out of that problem.
Today's Confession: “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world!”
