Does Anybody CARE?

Knowing that there is somebody out there who loves you makes you feel good inside. But how often have you felt as though there is absolutely no one out there who even cares about you? Those are the lies of the devil; don't listen to them. Listen to what the Word of God says: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. (Numbers 6:25-26)

What is He saying? You are the object of God's affection. If you were the only human being alive on the planet, God would have sent Jesus to die for you. That's how much you're loved by the Father. I believe you are going to experience a real deliverance simply because you've realized you're loved and highly favored of God. He cares about you. He cares about every detail of your life. He cares.

Right this minute, if you read the last statement and didn't take it personally, you are believing the lies of Satan. He is a LIAR! You have to actively say with your mouth, "Lord, I believe You loved me. I believe You have forgiven me. I believe You care. Thank You for loving me." Say that over and over again until finally, you'll begin to believe it more than you do Satan's lies!

 

What shall we than say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall  he not be with him also freely give us all things? (Romans 8:31-32)

There are a lot of people who are not convinced that God is for them. They think God is the enemy. How would you like to be commander-in-chief of an army where half of your troops don't even know who the enemy is? They've got their weapons pointed toward headquarters, blaming you all the time for their problems!

 

There are people questioning God, "Why did You let this happen to me?" They don't realized that God is for them and not against them! God did not cause this awful situation in your life to prove something to you; He cares about you.

 

God wants to turn every test in your life into testimony! He wants to bless you no matter how impossible your situation may seem. In fact, He wants to bless you beyond your wildest dream! He wants to restore every single thing Satan has stolen from you. God wants to see you free to be the wonderful, unique you that He created.

 

He wants you to discover your strength, embrace your uniqueness, and recognize your hobbies and interests as something He Himself put into you and wants to use. But, it all starts with knowing He loves you.

 

NOTHING can separate you from God's love! Nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing!

 

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor power, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)

When you become "persuaded" of just how loved you are, and just valuable you are in the sight of God, then you can say what Paul said, "There is nothing can separate me from the love of Christ. Not things present nor things to come."

 

CLEARING THINGS UP

It's one thing never to have heard the Truth, but then it's something else to have heard wrong information. There are many people who have heard wrong things about Jesus, and that's why they have never accepted Him.

 

There are two kinds of unbelief. One is caused by a lack of knowledge; the other is a result of an unwillingness to believe. One person does not believe simply because he doesn't know anything. Because of a lack of knowledge concerning that particular subject, he can't believe. Another person has heard the truth but, as an act of his own will, has decided not to believe. There are many people who have decided not to believe in Jesus because of all the wrong things they have heard about him.

 

Many times that distorted image have come from Christians. They see God some kind of vicious tyrant who is just looking for an opportunity to "bust them over the head" the first time they do something wrong. The idea that all I have to look forward to is God knocking me out every time I make a mistake would keep me from wanting to become one of His children too.

 

God is a God of love, mercy, compassion, kindness and goodness; but how can you experience that if you don't believe it and receive it for yourself?

 

Probably the most famous scripture in the Bible is all about ... you guessed it ... God's amazing love for us.

 

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

 

When you are born again, you have right-standing with the God of the universe, and your right-standing with God gives you the ability to stand in His presence without a sense of sin, guilt, fear, inferiority, or condemnation. You have just as much right to stand before God as Jesus does. He purchased that right for you. Start dwelling in these things and allow them to become a reality in you.

 

When it becomes a reality in you spirit, you will quote 1 John 4:4 with an assurance you have never known before. GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN ME, THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD.

 

I encourage you to confess daily, " Thank you, Lord, for loving me. I receive Your love by faith in Jesus' Name!" Continue to say it until you are convinced of His love. It will change everything. If you still don't have it ingrained in you and you're still struggling with God actually forgiving you and loving you, then you need to take a moment and read this article again. Read the scriptures out loud. It must be the foundation to being free to be yourself.
